What is bench sales and marketing

Bench Sales is a term commonly used in the staffing industry to refer to the process of marketing and selling the services of available consultants who are currently not on a billable project. Essentially, these consultants are referred to as being “on the bench”, waiting to be assigned to a new project.

MS-Office Tools need to know

  • Microsoft Excel : Vendor list and candidate profile submissions should be updated with your name.
  • Microsoft OneNote : To share your OneNote between team.
  • Microsoft Teams : Keep Internal Communication active in working hours.
  • Microsoft Word : Keep candidate resumes update.
  • Microsoft Outlook : Communication is Key for every email, you should be keeping details clear in your email.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint : Weekly Reports or demo should be practiced.

Planning for Teams Meetings daily

  • Morning meeting at 8 AM PST
  • Afternoon daily Status Meeting at 3 PM PST
  • Management Meetings directors and members weekly once:

Third Step: to Understand work Permit

  • USA Visa list (USC, GC, H1B, OPT, CPT)
  • USC – United States Citizenship
  • GC- Green Card as permanent resident in the USA Permanent Residence to live and work in the U.S.
  • H1B VISA – Specialty Occupation Worker (skilled worker) Work permit for limited duration for a non-immigrant through employers. (i-797A/B)
  • F1 VISA OPT – International Students work permit visa with 12 months duration after completing college with possibility of 24 months extension. Total 3 years work permit.
  • F1 VISA CPT – semester Curricular Practical Training for every semester, and it can be extended.
  • TN visa (CANADA/MEXICO) Beside country trade work permit can be extended through employer
  • F1 VISA CPT (Every SEM) → OPT (12 months) → STEM OPT (24 months) with EAD
  • H4 EAD : H1B spouse gets work permit after i-140 approval
  • H-2B Visa – Temporary non-agricultural worker
  • H-2A Visa – Temporary agricultural worker
  • L-1 Visa – Intercompany Transferee through (Employer-) can only work for same employer.
  • B-1 Visa – Business visitors
  • J-1 Visa – Exchange Visitor Program.
  • Optional Practical Training (OPT)
  • Curricular Practical Training(CPT)
  • High foreign workers in specialty occupation bases (H1B)

  • Employer <–-> Vendor <--> vendor-prime <--> vendor-client—process (EVVVC)
  • How to talk with the consultant and vendor for Candidate resume submissions to client
